About Linden and the website

hello, dear fellow traveler who wandered in my forest corner!

my name is linden. yes, like the tree!

i am queer in multiple ways, i use she and they pronouns, i am neurodivergent, recovering, and i have no national identity. i would self describe as a changeling, an elf, a space traveler, a little woodland critter, and a little bit of a construct.
i am a legal adult, but this site most likely wont contain any explicit content (unless you live in a hell country where any lgbtq+ material is considered explicit content). if it will, though, it will be clearly separated. i do swear liberally, though.

i do a lot of things while also doing a whole lot of nothing.

  • i draw, mainly digitally. i do a bunch of different crafts.
  • i play a couple instruments very badly.
  • i play a lot of video games, and a lot of my drawings are game related, often about my own played characters.
  • sometimes i even try to do little game mods.
  • right - i am a software dev by profession, though not by choice and at heart i am always a creative.
  • i dress in mori kei almost all the time and enjoy nature. i am trying to dip a bit into fairy kei.
  • one of my special interests is linguistics. i speak/understand 6 languages to varying degrees, of which english is not the first, and i swear i get stupider in every next one. who knows, maybe one day this website will have a language option...
  • i have a growing collection of sylvanian families (american folks know them as calico critters). i occasionally make accessories for them.

i made this website when i ended up at once frustrated with inhaling a lot of negative information influx from social media and feeling purposeless and alienated, and in need of remembering what frontend coding even is after about two years of not touching a single html file. so i decided i would kill two birds with one stone and make myself this lovely internet log cabin.

i often type like this, in all lowercase and chat-like, when its just some personal ramblings, and more cleanly and properly if making something more organized or instructional.
